Keith Goffin
Keith Goffin (BSc, MSc, PhD)
Keith trained as a medical physicist and then worked on product and market management at Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group, where he later studied part-time for his PhD. He is an Emeritus Professor at Cranfield School of Management, UK, and a Research Professor at Stockholm School of Economics. Keith has published over 50 academic papers and three books. His textbook, Innovation Management: Effective Strategy and Implementation is used in many universities and business schools. He is a world leader in techniques for identifying customers’ hidden needs and linking these to innovation strategy. Currently, he teaches on several MBA programmes and is a consultant to leading organizations, supporting their successful implementation of innovation strategy.
Ian Kierans
Ian Kierans (BA, MA, MBA, PhD)
Ian trained as an organization psychologist, before becoming a management consultant at Accenture (Atlanta) and Diamond Technology Partners (New York), helping businesses shape and implement strategies for a digital era. In 2005 he co-founded Advanced Organisation—a consultancy and capability development firm specializing in strategy, innovation, and change. His PhD, at Cranfield School of Management, focused on a crucial topic: how established businesses can succeed at business model innovation. In his consultancy work, Ian helps businesses develop new strategies and market innovations, dynamic capabilities and to overcome mindset issues. He is an award-winning adjunct Professor at Trinity Business School and Mannheim Business School.
